Es ist wieder einmal soweit und das Riesenrad am Münsterplatz dreht seine Runden. Dieses Bild entstand einige Minuten bevor die Stadtbeleuchtung angeschaltet wurde so dass das Riesenrad als einzige Lichtquelle in der Abenddämmerung aufleuchtete.

As every year, the giant wheel next to the Cathedral of Basel is a thankful motive during the Herbstmäss. I took this photo just a few moments before the city lighting was turned on, so the wheel was the only illuminated object in the dawn.

Umzug, Teil 1: Abschied Moving Part 1: Goodbye
Es ist soweit, unser Umzug steht kurz bevor. In den nächsten beiden Tagen steht alles im Zeichen des Aussortierens, Einpackens, Abbauens. Und es heisst Abschied nehmen.
Here we go, it's time to move! The next two days will keep us busy with sorting things out, packing and dismantling. And it's time to say goodbye.
